I was poking around FloDesk this morning and found something you might want to know.
If you’re trying to send a text email to your newsletter with no images, you can’t use any of the fancy fonts they include.
For instance, the signature at the bottom.Or even the line right above that.
They convert these to images before sending.
This seems obvious, but you can edit them in the editor so it made me wonder if there was some sort of font magic going on.
How I checked: I sent a test email to myself and Gmail asked me if I wanted to download the images. I didn’t and I looked to see what was missing from the email.

Just something to consider if you’re trying to boost your open rate via imageless emails.
